3 Things You Should Do When You Feel Invisible And Unwanted

Dear Recklessly, Loved Queen

I know you feel invisible, unwanted, and insignificant. I know you may even feel like you have no purpose on this Earth. You feel like you just exist. I know that you have prayed and prayed for the day that someone will validate you because then your worth will grow. There are days you even think that if you act like them, you’ll be more loved and cherished. There are nights where you cry yourself to sleep because the pain is too much to bear. You hold all the pain inside because who could understand? Who could help? Who would see it as a real ache and not a pity party? It’s all too much that you consider ending it…

Before you continue to think these thoughts and internalize this pain, stop and read this passage:

For you created my inmost being;

You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Your works are wonderful,

I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place,

When I was woven together in the depths of the earth.

Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written

In your book

Before one of them came to be.

How precious to me are your thoughts, God!

How vast is the sum of them!

Were I to count them,

They would outnumber the grains of sand-

When I wake, I am still with you.

Psalm 139:13-18

This passage speaks to the beauty that is you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made! He knew you before anyone else knew you! He knows your past, present, and future! Please don’t let what the world says become who you are. If you ever hear or start to believe anything that doesn’t align with this message, know it is a lie -- it is not nor will ever be true.
Recklessly, Loved Queen, He sees you and loves you. He is all that matters. I know there are days where you wish someone would just appreciate and validate you, but know He already has – and He will never stop. The world has no say in what God has called for you. You are destined for greatness. Like Jeremiah 29:11 says

“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord,

“Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Today I pray that you understand that no human can ever take, measure, or give you the love God has given you. You are loved, you are seen, you are beautiful, you matter – don’t ever forget it. You are recklessly loved by God. As His daughter, He has called you to greatness. It can’t be taken from you.

Here are three things I want you to do when you feel this overwhelming pain creep in:

1. Recite both passages. Write them down. Write them again. Repeat them. Believe them.

2. Speak the pain aloud. The enemy loves to see God’s children suffer in silence. Seek a trusted confidant and tell them how and what you are    feeling. The right people will understand and help you, not neglect you.

3. Don’t give up. This step won’t be easy so that’s why I’m telling you this now. Yet, I promise you His grace, peace, and reckless love will step in and guide you out. Just don’t give up. Please don’t give up.

Remember: you are recklessly loved and it's never-ending.

Sincerely,
Someone Who Cares About You
